Shailyn and Haley Palm both competed at State Games of America in
Colorado Springs. Both girls did an awesome job representing
Washington State and Everett Figure Skating Club.
Shailyn skated Pre-Preliminary and placed 1st in her Freeskate, 1st in
her Showcase and 4th in her Artistic.
Haley Palm skated Preliminary and
placed 1st in her Freeskate, 3rd in her Showcase and 1st in her
Artistic.
At was is the nation’s largest multi-sport event for athletes of
all ages and skill levels, as many as 10,000 athletes, elite, senior,
masters, prep state champions, NCAA collegiate athletes and Olympic
hopefuls competed in 31 sports from 40 states.
This is quite an acomplishment for both girls. With their
placements, they have both qualified for State Games of America 2011 to
be held in San Diego, California. We are so proud of them.
As you can tell both girls were ecstatic over their wins.
